MOBILE TEST PLANT

The OLIVIA is a ready-to-operate processing system with automatic control that is designed to pre-treat whole or pre-crushed olives. The system continuously applies pulsed electrical energy to olives, is designed to run permanently and can be integrated very easily into existing processing lines. The OLIVIA can be installed effectively upstream of olive crushing, malaxation (oil extraction) or the solid/liquid separation system (decanter or packing press) and can be perfectly adapted to suit customer needs.

The system is currently designed for throughput of 6000 kg/h, but can be set up for throughput from a minimum of 600 kg/h up to the volume of your existing processing line. If you have larger volumes, the throughput can be increased or we can connect multiple OLIVIA processing units in parallel - contact us for more details.

The pulse and control technology and the treatment chamber are all installed in a sealed steel frame for reliable operation. Of course, we designed the OLIVIA to comply with European standards and have documentation for CE marking as well.

OLIVIA, version for whole olives
The “whole olives” version includes an integrated storage hopper. The pre-cleaned olives are fed into the treatment chamber from the hopper by turning the integrated feed wheel. Treatment in the chamber is in water. Treatment itself only lasts a few seconds.
The treated olives are then lifted out of the water bath by turning the feed wheel again and are then fed out of the unit almost dry. The water consumption is minimal.

OLIVIA, version for pumpable olive mash
The “olive mash” version has a coaxial reaction chamber to pump the mash, instead of a feed wheel. The system does not require additional water, as there is enough liquid from the mash for treatment.
